The Bridgeport Robotics Society is considering retrofitting Alan Winick’s submarine “Explorer” with a new robotic arm. The exact design of the arm has not yet been decided but several different types are being considered. The goal is to allow “Explorer” to collect, dig, poke, probe, sample, etc., as it explores the sea floor.
